Hi babes! I still can’t believe I’m typing this from a cute little café just steps away from the Duomo (like… actual gasp-worthy view). I’m officially halfway through my semester abroad in Florence, and this city has completely stolen my heart — and maybe my bank account too (but we’re calling that a cultural expense, right? 😅).
I’m taking this dreamy class called The Food of Italy: Wine and Culture and yes, it's as fabulous as it sounds. We literally taste test pasta for homework. I never thought I’d be sipping Chianti and discussing regional cheese pairings for college credit, but here we are! 💁♀️
Every morning I pass the Duomo on my walk to class and I swear, no matter how tired or gelato-hungover I am, it still takes my breath away. The marble. The pinks and greens. The way the light hits it? Art. I feel like I’m living in a postcard.
And the food... don’t even get me started. Truffle gnocchi? Had it. Pistachio gelato? Addicted. I even tried a squid ink risotto last week and honestly?? Not bad.
But what really surprised me is how much fashion inspiration I’ve found here. The women in Florence don’t just get dressed, they arrive. Picture flowy linen skirts, oversized sunnies, gold hoops, and effortless chic in every alley. #ÉtédÉtédEurope jewelry designs in my notebook between pasta lectures (lol) and suddenly… an idea was born.

Yep! I’ve been working on this tiny, sparkly side project between classes, and it's finally ready.
