世界盃
2026 年 FIFA 世界盃 將會由 48 支球隊 參與本屆賽事，賽事共分為 12 組分組，每組 4 隊。每組排名前兩位的隊伍 能夠進入 淘汰賽，進行 16 強、8 強、4 強、季軍戰與決賽。
本屆世界盃 將於 2026 年 6 月 展開賽程。首場比賽 將由 墨西哥迎戰南非，於 6 月 12 日 於阿茲特克體育場舉行。同日後續賽程中，南韓對決捷克。接下來一天，加拿大將迎戰波士尼亞，而美國則對上巴拉圭。
在小組分組上，A 組 包括 墨西哥、南非、韓國及捷克；B 組 則由 加拿大、波士尼亞、卡達以及瑞士；C 組 則是 巴西、摩洛哥、海地與蘇格蘭同組。像是 法國、阿根廷、巴西、德國、西班牙與英格蘭等勁旅 已確認所屬小組。
淘汰賽 預計於 7 月初 正式進行，16 強賽 大約在 7 月 4 日 登場，最終決賽將在 7 月 19 日 上演，屆時將決定 2026 年 FIFA 世界盃冠軍。
歷史交手紀錄顯示，墨西哥與南非曾於 2010 年世界盃 對決，結果雙方踢成 1 比 1，歷史交鋒仍保持均勢。
同時，越位、黃牌、紅牌、VAR 與點球等規則，也是觀眾理解比賽的重要基礎，球迷對規則判定仍十分關心。
